I flourish in the direct morning sunlight, but harsh afternoon sunlight can burn my leaves.
Cold and harsh climates do not suit me at all.
My leaves require humidity to remain green and healthy. Frequent misting and placing a humidity tray beneath my pot are greatly beneficial.
Water me thoroughly and deeply when my topsoil gets dry and allow me to catch my breath before you water me again.
Use a thin training wire and a good wiring technique to train my branches to hold themselves in the desired position.

I respond enthusiastically to fertilizing, so ensure that an organic liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength is fed every two weeks in the growing season. In winter, once a month feeding is sufficient.

Organic pesticides work well for pests whereas fungicide sprays are effective for fungal growth.
How often do we need to prune this plant?
I respond very well to pruning. This is best done towards the end of spring.
